In loving memory of David Ferris who sadly passed away on 4th October 2017

David Ferris to many of us, was a one off, certainly in my life time I had never met anyone like him.
He lived his life by a certain set of morals, values and rules.

Here are a few of them

Happiness
Laughter
Loyalty
Helping others
Laughing at life
Sharing
Inspiring
Loving his family

David hated

Moaning about life
Being Sad
Fighting amongst ourselves

and Im sure there are many other things we could all add to the above lists

However the point is .....David Ferris is someone who has taught us that the morals and values that we choose to live by, can make you or break you as a person, he chose to live by some incredible values, and this made him an amazing person. Having met her many times, I believe, his mother was responsible for the person he became.

Thank you to everyone so far that has sent messages of sympathy to his family, they will miss him so much
There is currently a GO FUND ME page on the go fund me website set up to raise money and help Chinny (Wendy) his wife with their children's future education, if you would like to donate, please go to www.gofundme.com and type in David Ferris

Alternatively, if you would like to donate to David's favorite charity - The Starz Appeal for the Salisbury District Hospital, all proceeds will go to the Intensive Care Unit
Please do so through this website or the Funeral directors, Darren Macdonald, Penny Farthing St, Salisbury

Thank you

I spent a lot of time with David and his Family whilst growing up having family holidays at his. Being a similar age we spent most of time together with Sharon my Sister. David always made me laugh he was so funny. I also remember him singing along to Lena Zavaroni, dressing up and wearing a long wig whilst doing this. When I was 17 David 19 We moved to Plymouth, David was great helping us settle in and taking us out, as we had no friends Close by. He was so caring and friendly, and it is so sad. All my love goes to Chinny, Ruby and Noah, and all of David's Family. R.I.P Lovely Man xxx

Karine Harrop donated in memory of David

Sadly due to living in New Zealand I am not going to be able to attend davids funeral on the 26th October however I will celebrate David’s life and mourn his family’s loss on this day, in my own way by reminiscing over the fun times and memories he shared with me. I will also find a special place to do this so I in some way can share this sad time with you all. Time and the miles apart made no difference to David, once a friend always a friend. Thoughts are with Chinny, Ruby and Noah and much love. Karine xxx

Words just cannot express the utter sadness felt by everyone; family, friends, colleagues but especially Chinny, Noah & Ruby for the devastating loss of the wonderful David. I only shared a very small but very significant and memorable part of life with him & Chinny but I will never forget this for as long as I live. Sending heartfelt love to you all Justine (was Bagley/Cox Butlins 1992 summer season) xxxxxxxx
