Gran I can't believe you are gone. My childhood memories are filled with you in your kitchen baking cakes, you trying to get me to spend my money in Benetton when I didn't want to part with it and when I would run away from school and come see you!

You loved us all with everything you had and I am so glad Bennett got to meet you. I know that you will watch over the whole family.

I am so proud to say that I was named after you.

Love you always Gran xx

Gran, I can't begin to put into words how much you are missed already. You where truly an inspirational woman, who on more than one occasion defied the odds when everyone wrote you off. A true fighter in every sence of the word. My fondest childhood memories will always be the scenes in your kitchen, surrounded by all my cousins, laughing, joking and baking cakes or eating one of your famous piella dishes! The thing that's hurting the most is none of us no longer have the luxury of popping in for a chat and enjoy your beautiful personality and giving nature. You've set the bench mark for all granny's to live upto and I'm sure all the (relatively) new grans in our family will with such a great role model!! Myself, Missy and Cici loved you dearly and you will be sorely missed. I promise to be just as good a parent as you have been to us all and keep the memories of you eternal. Bye Gran, love you loads x

A Grandmother is one of life’s best gifts,
Someone to treasure all life through,
She’s caring and loving,
Thoughtful and true,
Someone who is always a special part of your life,
Someone who holds a prime place in your heart,
She’s a mentor, a confidant and also a friend,
Someone on whose love you can depend.
A Grandmother always has your best interests at heart,
She’s someone so dear and so good,
She’s a blessing, she’s a gift,
She’s a treasure like no other,
She’s someone that is truly wonderful.
Wherever you go, and whatever you do,
A Grandmother’s love will always see you through,
A Grandmother is truly invaluable,
Indispensable and unforgettable.
I wouldn’t want anyone but you,
And that’s why I’m so grateful,
that life picked you for me.

Sleep tight Gran.

Who can I talk to now when I can't sleep?
When I'm lying awake and counting sheep.
Who can I call when it all falls apart?
Who'll pick me up and show me the start.
Who'll put the kettle on and make me tea?
When I'm passing by and stop for a pee.
Who'll tell me to 'stop with the tears'
Even now after all these years!
It's time to grow up and take stock
Cause ma you've always been my rock x
