Thinking of you today and and this is going to be another tough week for everyone. You are missed so much and to mark Fathers Day we are going to go to Marstons and get a drink, take some balloons with us and release them in your memory. A bit less exciting than The last trip we took , Sean taking your ashes on all the fast rides in Skeggy!! As I say to the boys, there was never a good or easier time for them to lose you. An amazing Father and best friend to them. You were a second dad to Leo and he's still got his heavy rock from the beach in my kitchen window. When the lads tell me stories of things they've done I can even visualise and hear the bit where you used to say," don't tell your mother I knew if she finds out"! Lol. I know we won't be the only ones thinking of you today that miss you. R.I.P and we will be thinking of your Dad too and hoping you are with him and your Mum. Xxxx

ROBERT
Our eyes they just keep crying, You've left such a void behind.
Our ears they cannot hear you,we have to listen in our mind.
The clock keeps ticking plodding along, although we go right back to that day.
Sometimes we try to imagine you're still here, for a minute it's easier that way.
Consumed in grief and gloom,we forget the happy times we shared.
Everyones way is different,no matter how that is so many people cared.
Xmas cards are in the shops and that fills us with sadness,
You should still be here what happened was total madness!
No matter what else happens as life goes on, We'll never be truly apart.
You have a special place in memories and deep within our heart.
We like to think you miss us and you're at peace with your Mum and Dad.
Little did they know on the day you were born the gift they would give us all.
A gentleman right to the end, what a special boy they had.
Like each and everyone one of us that misses you each day,
You were a unique Dad,family and friend to be proud of ,
Much more than any words could say. X

Finally sat and counted the collection box from Roberts' funeral. Am delighted to say Macmillan cancer and The Deakin family will be receiving £325 each. Obvious reasons why macmillan cancer, but equally fitting to collect for the young children whose mother died not so long back.
