Joanne Hollywood wrote

I am so sorry Auntue Sylvie has passed away. My memories of her begin when I was 5 and she, along with Uncle Gerry visited us in Salisbury and took me to a shoe shop. I had never been in a shoe shop before. They bought me some pink sandals that I loved and thought were amazing.
Auntie Sylvie will remain in my memory as kind, funny and gentle. My Mum, Muriel, loved Sylvie. They had a special friendship that helped Muriel through some dark days.
