Sharon Lesley Hoare (10 Mar 1962 - 11 Sep 2017)
Funeral Director
In loving memory of Sharon Lesley Hoare who sadly passed away on 11th September 2017
Shazzy was born on the 10th March 1962. She suffered complications at birth which resulted in brain damage, causing cerebral palsy, and other severe problems. Despite this, Sharon had an amazing sense of spirit, bravery, determination, such character, the most fabulous sense of humour, and a heart full of love.
Throughout her life she attended residential schools in Leeds, Cumbria and Kent. Sharon made friends very easily, and was dearly loved by all who came into contact with her.
After leaving her last school and college, Sharon attended Tamworth Day Services, weekly, where she made a large group of friends, and enjoyed the variety of activities, and outings provided.
In 2015, Sharon finally achieved her dream of having her own home, when she moved into a newly built and adapted Bungalow, just around the corner from her original home. This involved having a live in carer to provide 24 hour care, but Shazzy was thrilled to be able to experience independence that she had so longed for.
Liz, Amor & Goodness became her main carers and were dearly loved by Shazzy, who saw them as live in best friends.
Sharon's life opened up in leaps and bounds the last 2 and a half years, and surrounded by her loving family, and dear friends, it truly became a fun, exciting and very memorable time for all concerned.
We will always remember Shazzy's infectious smile and absolute zest for life. And sharing all our wonderful memories of Sharon will go on forever!
