In loving memory of Marianne Frederica James who sadly passed away on 24th August 2017.
Widowed at the age 21 with 3 small children, David aged 3½, Peter aged 23 months and Audrey at just 4 months old.
Life was very difficult back in 1959, Mary (Marianne) had to play the role of mother and father.
She remarried in 1966 and was happily married to Jim for 19 years until he suddenly passed away.
Left on her own again she managed to take everything in her stride and enjoyed looking after her grandchildren and taking them for days out.
As the grandchildren grew older Mary invested in a new companion, Bobby her little westie, whom she adored.
