I would like to send my condolence to the Kakada`s family and Marica Mum.
Marica was a private, fun loving person, well attired with her red lipstick and unique ear rings. I always thought Marica was an Nigerian because of her mannerism and speaking but
it wasn't until 2005 when we worked together, I realised she was from Jamaica and so would talk about our childhood days living in Jamaica.
Unfortunately, I left Southwark in 2011 and lost touch but Marcia has always been in my thoughts, hoping to see her in my travelling in Peckham but that wasn't to be. When I received news of her death, I felt devastated, shocked but relief to know she would suffer no more.
Marcia was a good co-worker, mother and loved her daughter and Mum dearly as they were the most important persons in her life.
Marcia you are gone but not forgotten, may light perpetually shines upon you and give you peace. Above all I am rejoicing and feeling happy to know that Marcia has given her life to God before passing. Thank god she made it in time and looking forward to see you in that heavenly home.
Love
Phillippa
