You were much younger when I last saw you Jon, I remember you been really inquisitive and always very friendly. May you rest in peace, my thoughts are of you and the family.

RIP Jon Bradbury. Genuinely one of the funniest people I've ever met, and still remained to be the case when I hung out with him the other week. Effortlessly witty in a way like nobody else I'd ever seen. I wanted to tell him that day that I missed hanging out with him and I'm glad he's the same old Jon from school, but now I'll never get the chance.

It's cliché to say but you really never know when life's going to take someone you know, and all you can do is wish you could have talked to them a bit more. I guess it's something to learn from, as you might never get the opportunity to tell a friend how much they mean to you, or patch things up with an old friend you miss - just don't wait around with things, is what I'm trying to say. To be even more cliché, life's too tragically short for that - love your friends, tell them how much you appreciate them, because tomorrow you might wish you did it sooner. It's a surreal feeling, and knowing he's gone will leave a mark on me that I don't think will ever go away. Rest in peace, Jon.
