In loving memory of Wendy Gillian Cockcroft who sadly passed away on 3rd August 2017.

An angel lived among us,
A gift from high above.
She showered me with kindness
And unconditional love.

She loved us dearly,
She told me every day,
Nestled close within her heart.
Though, now, she’s far away.

She’s gone to be with dad again,
But, she’s here with us, today,
Smiling down on every one of us,
And telling us she’s O.K.

For my mum and best friend ; you are at peace now in the arms of dad.

We would like the service to be a happy and uplifting celebration of mum's life, please feel free to wear bright clothes!

Sincere condolences to Nina and family. I was very sad to hear about Wendy, she was a lovely lady, full of fun and laughter. I knew of her from school but saw her again in the latter years when she used to catch the train to work into Nottingham. There was never a dull moment. She will be sadly missed.

  • Ridiculously late as always. Caught up with Jean and Dave today, and was so sorry to hear about your mum. It’s a long shot, but hoping you might see this. It’s Keri (was Taylor, then Ryder, now Levy) Would love to hear from you, and can only apologise for such an inappropriate forum - you’re a hard lady to find! I hope with all my heart that you’re well and happy xxxx kerilevy18@gmail.com

You tickled my toes,
Checked for monsters,
Showed me the stars,
And taught me how to reach them.
Thank you Mum x
