Agnes Lewis (28 Jan 1940 - 4 Aug 2017)

In loving memory of Agnes Lewis who sadly passed away on 4th August 2017 her sister Regina Bernard wrote the following biography:-

Agnes Lewis was born on the Caribbean paradise island of St Lucia, West Indies in the parish of Dennery. She was one of 9 children born to Justina ‘majust’ Edole of the Adolph clan and Alexander ‘papa’ Regis.

During her lifetime Agnes triumphed through childhood illness and was a bright and intelligent student. Who in the 60’s travelled to the UK making this new land her home until her recent death.

Agnes was married once and unfortunately had no children. This event did not stop her from living a full and varied lift on her own terms before serious illness claimed her life. And it was Agnes’s ultimate ambition to once again return to her beloved St Lucia to live out her twilight years.

Finally it is safe to state that Agnes will be greatly missed by family, relatives and friends which she has left behind.
