In loving memory of Lewis Frank Spiteri who sadly passed away on 6th August 2017.

Born in Sliema, Malta, he came to the UK , bringing with him a passion for sport and an appreciation of life.

He worked his way through various incarnations of the car industry and its supply chain in the Coventry area.

He followed a variety of opportunities to work and support the local community through volunteering towards the end of his working life, making friends where ever he went, sharing his dry humour, supporting and caring for others.

He is remembered as being fiercely independent, strong of will, full of hope, kind of heart and always willing to help others.

Darius Spiteri donated £80 in memory of Lewis

Money from the collection at Lewis's Funeral Service and gifts delivered in person before the service. (we have decide to share this equally between the two causes and round it up a little)

I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and their support over the past weeks, I know that the whole family feel blessed with all the heartfelt kindness and wishes we have received from family, friends, neighbours and former colleagues of Lewis.

Goodbye dear Cousin Lewis
This has been hard for me to write and share after what has been a very hard time for Lewis's
sons Darius and Robert and Touran his loving partner and wife for nearly 50 years.
Lewis has been part of my life since I was born in Malta and when he moved to to the UK and Rugby to live with my parents Anne and Eric. I later lived with him for a time in Coventry.
We shared many of those milestones in life exams , weddings, births and funerals.
The kindness Lewis showed my mother Anne in the 20 years she was a widow doing shopping for her and sharing photos and news and pictures from Malta will always be an appreciated memory and testament to his kindness and mark of the sort of man he was.
May you now rest in peace and be remembered by all as a kind and generous person, welcoming to all.

Love to you Lewis and your family
John (aka Tony ) Schiemann
Son of Anne Schiemann nee Borg Lewis's aunt who would have said what I have written and much more but also passed away in January of this year. Bless her.
