Patricia known as MARION PATTEN (2 Sep 1942 - 4 Aug 2017)

In loving memory of MARION PATTEN who sadly passed away on 4th August 2017. Marion was a mum, nana to 5 grandchildren, sister, aunt, friend and work colleague. She was a history and RE teacher all of her adult life, most of her career was spent at Canon Palmer RC school in Seven Kings. After retirement, her passion for history continued and she attended courses and lectures at the UEA, aswell as subscribing to history magazines, tutoring and invigiliating exams. Since moving to Braintree in 2010, Marion had enjoyed meeting new friends and living closer to her to her lifelong friend, Ann, whom she'd known over 60 years. She was much loved by us all, and we will miss her.
