Suddenly but peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 3rd aged 73 years, Mildred (Mil). The beloved mam of Allison, Tracy and Stephen and mother-in-law of Ken, Tony and Claire. The very proud nana and great nana of her twenty five grandchildren. The much loved sister of Betty, Margaret, Una and now reunited with the late Shirley. The former loving wife of Harry. A much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty, great aunty and friend to many. Friends please meet on Tuesday August 15th for service in St. Michael and All Angels Parish Church, Houghton at 10:45am. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium at 12 noon. All are welcome afterwards to Burnside Cricket Club, Houghton for refreshments. Flowers welcome or donations in lieu if so desired to Tail Torrox Dog Rescue. A collection plate will be provided at the Crematorium. All enquiries to Andrew Grey Funeral Directors, 9 North View Terrace, Chilton Moor, Houghton le Spring, Tel: 0191 3857213. Much loved and sadly missed. Till we meet again.

Another year has past, i still think about you all the time and think what your up to..

We still think and laugh at the little crazy sundays we used to spend at yours with the music on having a little dance, them were the best days🙂

Birthday wishes mil , another one without you ,don’t know what you would have made of all the crazyiness going on been a very strange year doesn’t look like it’s going to change for a while it’s a long story no doubt you will have been watching over us all I hope you do we all ok miss you in our lives lots of love xxxxxxx

Another year seems to flown by , missing you wishing you were here , I look at your picture and often talk to you , your still with us in our hearts and minds , we still have Ben still never spoke a word but makes plenty of noise got a right attitude if he doesn’t get his food , been a strange year this one so far with a virus going round everything having to change ,anyway love you always mil xxxx

Hi mil , well it’s been a year already , don’t know where the time has gone , your thought of constantly never far from everyone’s thoughts and conversations , Ben your parrot is doing fine , likes to make his presence known , our two pups are growing fast think they would have been far to energetic for you they would have bounded about your bungalow like tornados, the boys are all ok , stephen doing ok too we miss you terribly we all keep finding feathers hoping it’s a sign from you that your with us watching over us all , well I’ll say bye for now but I’ll be back for a chat another time love you xxx

On a sad note your good friend Lynn is no longer with us ,but I’ve no doubt you will be taking care of her , Ben your parrot is still doing ok , blinking noisy thou and loves throwing his food all over , the pups are getting bigger a right handful they are , well I’ll go for now keep watching over everyone xxxx

Thought I’d fill you in on what’s happening , well Ben your little parrot is doing ok seems to have settled right in , loves making a mess thou , we still haven’t heard him speak yet , me and Stephen have gotten two new puppies , you’d love them , the little girl is wicked but the little boy is really cute and laid back , I’ve had all my hair cut , bit like when I was younger , sad news Kirsten husband has passed away yesterday it’s heartbreaking , give her a hug from us x I know your around us I can feel it , love and miss you xxx
