Sid was a footballer one of the HARD men , a fierce but fair defender I played on teams with Sid and he never backed away from a tackle , impressive player. But he was a community person , with a surname that will go on infinitum , You could confide in him , he would give sound advice and in his way he was an equal to Monty , and Charles.
