In loving memory of Bernard Michael O'Connell who sadly passed away on the 16th July 2017 aged 41.
Bernard was a loving son,father and brother, who will be sadly missed by his family and friends who knew him. He leaves behind 5 loving children who will miss him dearly.
He loved all his children immensely and always loved to talk about their loves and interests, he loved his dog & all things about the army and nature. He was a big fan of John Wayne.

I miss you everyday Bernard, I think about you all the time bro. Life hasn't been the same since you got your wings. I don't know what to do at time's. But I do talk to you up there. I wish you were here with me so I could say what I never got to say. I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye. Sorry for been a bratt. Kian was there at the funeral he put his arms around me and said I'm here for you Dad, you would of been so proud of him. Lina she is so supportive and caring you'd love her. Thank you for bringing her into me life. Lacey and Harrison I've told them about been sick in ma's house. They laughed. I know ma struggling without you she has not been the same since. She's heartbroken. Christine Mark Patrick and Donna take care of her. I'm still here in the hospital. But trying to keep in high spirits. Fr Nicolas from Northfield talks to me on the phone and Wrights to me, which is nice. I know that I will see you again Bernard and you are going to slap me.
Shannara boy did she love you Bernard, she collects bee's and she has her own spot for you at home with Christine. Da misses you. I know but you know the old man never did show his feelings. But he was broken. Peter loves you and misses you. He is really happy and found his place., his son is adorable. James well are James he is amazing, yes lazy but he really is good if ma is bad. Lucy loves you so much Jordan dose his own thing and grew up fast. Rebecca I have not spoken to and Jack what a fine young man he is turning out to be. Bernard I could go all day, John he will be fine in time but he loves you, just a little lost at the moment. Bernard I love you so much bro. I love I love you I love you. Until I'm up there with you.
