I was completely floored when I heard the sad news a few weeks ago. It's been a few years since our paths have crossed but they first did so in the early '80's. I met Buz at the Four Dogs and we subsequently worked together for a few years in an engineering firm in Rossett. I can remember when the summer shutdown came and we hot tailed it in to town with our wage packets.... we didn't have them for long ! A few beers where had. I too shared his love of cars and bikes and we spent many a Sunday afternoon hooning around north wales on our sports bikes. There was never a dull moment if Buz was in tow, such a wicked sense of humour that I'll certainly miss. One of life's characters that I can say I'm privileged to have called a friend. You'll not be forgotten. Rest in peace mate.

I subsequently worked with him for a few years in an engineering firm in Rossett. We spent many a weekend spending our wages in the Dogs or in the pubs of Wrexham and if there was anything left, it would go on cars. His sense of humour always had us in stitches. I was very fortunate to have known you, you was one of lives great characters and will be sady missed.Rest in peace
mate.

Buz, me old mate, we shared a passion for cars and motorbikes. We also shared lots of laughs over the years - not to mention the odd beer or two......You will be sadly missed by all who have had the pleasure of being in your company.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. Mark

I met Buzby at St Davids Comprehensive, and quickly realised we shared a passion for cars and motorbikes - our friendship then began. Our birthdays were just 3 days apart so when we turned 16 yrs of age we were the first pupils in our year to ride our 50cc Mopeds to school - which was really cool back then. We would meet up after school and weekends and would spend hours tinkering with our 'Peds' trying to make them go faster!. The same sort of thing continued when we got cars and and we would both go through buying different cars almost on a weekly basis. Buz loved his Fords, especially Escort's. I've lost count how many drunken nights we spent together in the Centenary Club, The Ferryman and Scott's as young men 'growing up', not to mention 'the lads' holiday abroad to Tenerife in 1989. Those faded and dusty 1980's photographs are now more treasured than ever. I can't thank you enough for all the good times we had way back then, Buz - its such a shame that sometimes our lives take us in different directions and we lose touch. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Mark.

Unbelievably sad news when I heard about Buzby. Unfortunately I can't attend his funeral due to work commitments. Suffice to say I will be thinking of him and Debbie and family at noon on Friday. My sincere condolences.
