Jean was a lovely lady. It was always a pleasure to visit her in Burton and listen to the stories she had to tell, particularly about the mischief my dad, her brother, used to get up to when they were growing up. I have very fond memories of family holidays in Burton with Uncle Howard and Auntie Jean, filled with fun, play and laughter when the sun always seemed to shine. Jean will be sadly missed, but for me she will always be associated with happiness and those cherished memories will last a lifetime

Jean was the perfect Auntie. Caring, considerate, loving and always had a smile on her face. It was a joy to be in her company and I will always remember with great fondness the family holidays we had in Burton as children, the enjoyment of which Jean contributed greatly. Fondly remembered and very sadly missed.

I married the lovely Louisa in May 2005, and joined this wonderful family who welcomed me and truly made me feel part of the family. Jean was so lovely and kind, and a real delight to have known. I will always remember the twinkle in her eye and love of life, and it was so lovely to see her and spend time with her when we went over to Burton to visit the family there. She made such a fuss of Michael and Zara, and the children loved seeing her. Goodbye Jean, thank you for the lovely memories and kindness you showed me, I will always remember you. Jonathan
