I feel honored to have known and loved Joey. He welcomed me into his home on many occasions and taught me how to order a proper drink at an English pub :) My kids were going through old pictures about a month ago and came across one from my first trip to London; probably 1997. There is a picture of a group of us sitting at St Johns and we were all smiling. It looked like a good joke was just told and we were all sharing a laugh. We had all just come back from a trip to Oxford, I believe. Joey is in the middle and we are all around him. That is my perfect memory of Joey. Anyone who enjoyed his company was blessed and may the memories he has left us with be shared and celebrated. God Bless and much love to the Springate family.
