David Robert 'Dave' Dix (8 Apr 1966 - 26 Jun 2017)

Its hard to find the right words to say at times. And this is one of the hardest times to say anything. So it must be said from the heart and mind. We grew up as close cousins and we shared a lot of happy memorable times. Granted not always good and not always as get along cousins. But that was part of life and part of growing up and character building. As we get older and grow some what apart we often revert to the happier times in our youth and remember the fun and laughter we all shared as one big supportive family. cousins do grow older and do move away and often lose some of the contact we shared as youngsters. But cousins are only a minds thought away and that will stay for every. Its so sad that one true cousin is no longer part of the world we live in. Dave has gone now and he will be in good hands and reunited with his father once more. For now we will celebrate your life David and in time we will replace tears of sadness and sorrow with tears of fond loving memories. I wish to say to you a last good night and rest in eternal peace with the ones you loved and lost in your life time. Good night dear cousin and may god hold your hand and lead you into the garden of eternal rest for ever. forever cousins in life and rest. Craig and family xxx

My darling Dave I'm missing you so much. The days and weeks are passing by without you here looking after me and our beautiful children. I know heaven has gained the most precious angel of all time and you will be looking after us all until the time comes we are all back together. I love you so much and I always will. I feel completely lost right now.
In 9 hours you will be home for your final journey with us and ready to start your next journey.
A part of my life has gone. It will never be the same without you.
I miss you putting your arms around me holding me tight and saying I love you. You would pick me up when I was down. You would make me laugh. And your cheeky smile would win me over every time.

Couldn't have asked for a better next door neighbour than Dave. Such a good honest friendly man. Always welcomed us to any family event. So many wonderful memories shared over the years. He will be very sadly missed. R. I. P mate xxx

I have such fond memories of Dave and the four of us and the children when they were little Dave was such a nice guy you could have not met a nicer nicer guy we have been friends for such a long time infact 25 years or so I'm truly gutterd and heart broken for you Hayley and the kids xxxxxxx ?????

Dave when we met it truly was love at first sight. I can't stop thinking what if..... ? I was so lucky to have you in my life. The best husband and dad anyone could ever wish for.
