In loving memory of Jim Geraghty who sadly passed away on 3rd July 2017.
Dad was a proud Scouser who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life the football, a laugh and a Scouse pint and he was happy.
His talents for getting a laugh regardless of the situation were well known. He would proudly retell the story of how with Fred and Albert he had been offered spots in Liverpool pubs, both for singing the Bachealors and at his own mum's wake a comedy spot.
He composed some spectacular songs that Chelle and I will always remember and subjected him to in his final hours, and who could forget his famous banana skin sausages. Even in his final days he could always get a laugh.
In his later years he met Pauline who feel for his silly sense of humour and Norman Wisdom impressions. They enjoyed many years together, before Marrying in 2006. They doted on each other and enjoyed many a trip to Skegness. Dad would pull her leg about things and Pauline would play along. They were devoted to each other completely.
He was a cheeky fun loving man and a massive softy at heart. His sense of fun will be missed so much especially by his grandchildren who thought he was hilarious.
We all love and miss you but promise to keep the laughter going.
Love from all your family. X
