In loving memory of Edward (Eddie) Flannery who sadly passed away on 3rd July 2017

Devoted husband of Gill, much loved Dad of Denise and Yvonne, treasured Dad-in-Law, Grandad, Great-Grandad and friend to many, sadly passed away following a short illness. Huge thanks goes to the staff at the Marie Curie hospice and the wonderful team of community nurses, without whom we could not have carried out his wishes to remain at home. Anyone wanting to join us for a final farewell can do so at Yardley Crematorium on Monday 17th July at 2.30pm (and after at 'The Journeys End' Pub, Clay Lane, B26 1EH). Mourning dress not required, donations rather than flowers please to Marie Curie.

To my dearest brother Eddie. I am so sorry I couldn't be with you all today. I know we only met a few years ago but it was one of the best highlights of my life. You were one of the nicest funniest man I've ever met. I feel so sad that we won't be able to do it again but in the words of Dame Vera Lynn.
We'll meet again don't know where don't know when but I know we'll meet again some sunny day. I will treasure our memories forever, you will always be in my thoughts. Rest in peace my darling.
Eileen

Even though we didn't all get to meet you. We loved that you came briefly into our lives. Love from Kim, Debbie, Karen, Lisa, Sam and Bob

I was hoping someone would be able to read this for me as we live in Australia. My cousin Jenny has sent a photo of Eddie and I. It's a long storey but we were all split up as children and I didn't find my family until 7 yrs ago. I came over from Australia and we had a fantastic get together. I've sent my message separately. Hoping you cam oblige. Eileen McQuisten.
