Sorry to hear of Barb's passing. Such a fun lady with a beautiful smile, contagious laugh and time for anyone who happened to need an ear to bend. I never got the chance to actually say thank you for everything that you did for our mum, who was lucky to have moved in next door to you and Colin back in 1984. You will be missed by everyone who knew you. X x x

To my beautiful Nanny,

My life was never the same with you in it and will never be the same now you're no longer here with us. You never made me feel anything but loved so dearly and everything you did for me made my life better.

I'll miss you everyday, not seeing you smile or being able to give you a hug breaks my heart, but I was lucky to have such an incomparable Nanny like you in my life.

Thank you for being the best example of a Grandparent and friend (along with my amazing Grandad) that anyone could ask for.

Love always and I'll take our memories through my life until we meet again.

Your darling boy Christopher xx

Our love for each other never diminished from the time we met in Saudi at the end of 1970 until the time she passed away last month. Even her last words to me were " I love you, Col. ". I know she is still loving me in spirit and I will continue to love her till I die. I had her wedding ring inscribed with the words " my love forever " or " forever my love " depending how you wanted to say those three words, and I will choose the former for my final words, Barb. you are my love forever. Col.

Friendship is one of life's greatest treasures. Friends that are loyal are always there to make you laugh when you are down. This kind of friend can be hard to find but they offer a friendship that will last a lifetime. That's what barb was to me. I will miss her so much but will have lots of happy memories in the twenty years we knew each other. God bless and rest in peace my best friend .

Will miss you especially hearing you say 'alright love' in your Welsh lilt. We first met at the club many many years ago & then Friday nights it was a regular get together. Then our get togethers during the summer - many a glass of wine drank at these barbies. Fond memories. RIP Barbara xxx

My dear Nanny in Law...I know it's cliche but I just can't believe you are gone :( gone but never ever forgotten. Seeing the super strong bond and love between you and your family was always so heart warming and you extended that love to me. As my Grandad would have said, you were 'crackers', or 'mad as a box of frogs' as Sandy would say! But we wouldn't have you any other way. I will look after your boy and your family, we all miss you terribly but we know you are still here with us, each and every day. Love you lots and lots xxxxxxxxxx
