Beryl Dyson wrote

I come and I lay my weary head upon your breast,
My place of rest,
My place of peace,
My place of hope,
My place of joy,
Refreshed, and strengthened once more,
I arise to shine in the darkness
Blessed to be a blessing
You are my place of safety
You are my purpose, bringing life, truth to the people.

Your number one Wife, Beryl

Our Grandad.
The wise, loving and funny gentleman
that we knew as a husband, brother, friend or Dad,
The one that we loved and laughed with,
despite some of his jokes being bad...

He may have rested his eyes and gone to sleep,
but the memories that we have of him are ours to keep.

Attached to his garden, for all of his life,
he loved and cared for it, almost as much as he did for his wife.

We could always count on him for long, interesting talks,
especially in the summer when he would take us for what felt like the longest walks.

When we look back on the amazing things that our Grandad and Grandma have done,
The best of them all is how they have raised us, my Uncle and my lovely Mum.

So we will try not to cry because he is gone,
But we will remind each other of his stories,
and let his memory live on.

And finally, we can thank our Grandad, for being the best that he can be,
great company, a hard worker,
The head of our family.
