In loving memory of Irene McNamara who sadly passed away on 1st July 2017 after a short illness. Wife of the late Peter McNamara. Mother to Pat, Margaret, Julie, Teresa & Michelle. Nana and GreatNana to many. Irene was born in Nottingham, and spent many years there raising her family with husband Peter (affectionately known as 'Mac'), before moving to Leicester. In the early 1970s, they moved to Darley Dale in Derbyshire where Mac sadly died in 2005. Irene later moved to Worksop in Nottinghamshire, where she passed away in the excellent care of Greenacres Grange.
*The profile photo is of Irene in her WWII Wren's uniform; a part of her life she was so very proud of. Her time in the Wrens brought her and Mac together, and now they are together once more.
