Our memories

Jim leave your bench for a little while,
Come and walk with me.
To all the places that made you smile,
Then up to Marco's for some tea.

Along the Prom we shared many memories,
And we would talk and talk,
And remembered all the good times with our families.
Memories of where you and Megan would very often walk.

With this sad illness you had to fight,
Your strength and wisdom next to none,
Hold my hand and hold it tight.
Please take me back to where we had so much fun.

I miss you Jim and I always will, you know you were the BEST,
Hold my hand as I take you to your bench and it's there that I will let you rest.

You were a Special person, no one else could ever be.
Save up All your hugs and kisses, save them just for me.
We WILL meet again, in that Special land,
When I too sit on your bench, and I will hold your hand.
God bless.
Suexxx

Our Bench

Come sit on our bench during Spring time dad
We can watch the daffodils come alive.
I'll sit back and smile while I remember your words,
"Are you up for cooked tea, Sunday at 5?"

Come sit in our bench during Summer time dad
We will admire all the flowers in Bloom.
You can advise me in what to plant next year
While the birds all sig their own tune.

Come sit on our bench during Autumn time dad
When I've brushed all the leaves away.
We can have a hot chocolate mounted with marshmallows
And I'll tell you all about my day.

Come sit on our bench during Winter time dad
In my coat, hat and gloves I'll be there
To tell you how much we all miss you
While raising a glass of mulled wine in the air.

Through all the seasons I'll sit on our bench
And I know you'll be there too
Because even though we can't see you dad
You are with us in all that we do.

Love you dad xx
Mags xx
