Maureen Catherine Tipton (nee Duffy) (20 Jul 1928 - 21 Jun 2017)
Peacefully at home on Wednesday June 21, 2017 with her loving family by her side, Maureen, aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Bill, much loved mum of Keren and her fiance Brian. Sadly missed sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and dear friend to many. Funeral service to be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Pentland Chapel on Monday 3rd July 1030 am. Enquiries should be made to Scotmid Funeral Directors on 0131 326 3140.

It is with great sadness that Paul, Laura and I cannot be with Keren, Brian and your family as they say farewell Maureen. As someone who has given me lots of advice over the years I can hear you say "Don't be silly it cannot be helped away and enjoy your holiday". We will and have all in our thoughts. Planning to have a Brandy at 10.30 which won't seem so bad here as its 12.30. Laura and I not really brandy drinkers so may have to put it around our lips and give Paul the rest. Rest in peace Maureen xxx
