Still cannot believe you have gone. Been looking at your old photos today. What a handsome young boy you was. Yours and mums wedding photo. You both looked so happy.

Will always remember our trips to flamingo land and scarborough. Staying in the caravans. I used to enjoy so much when i came to stay with you in York at your beautiful house. I always remember saying id of moved there at 16 and gone to college how different my life would have been if i did.

There wont be a day that goes by where i wont think about you. Ive put your photo by my bed and will say goodnight to you each night. Say hello to Nanny for me love you forever ❤ xxxxxx

My grandad (Adge) will be missed and we had so many good memories and funny ones too. R.I.P grandad love you lots Chelsea xxx

You were a big part of my life and left me with so many happy memories and some silly ones. You were so many things to me brother, friend, protector and dad. You took on all those roles and never complained. Be at peace now and go and have a pint with dad and watch the cricket. Love you always xxx

Adge - I always will associate you with all those great Saturday nights out in Lincoln in the 1970s (with Pam and Youngy!) . I haven`t seen you for many years but haven`t forgotten you or those Saturday nights which I will always remember with great affection. You were a good mate who has gone at far too young an age but who will now be at peace after suffering so much pain. RIP Chrisx

You was always such a fun uncle and made me laugh so many times, still not sure what your sayings meant but il always remember them.

I'm truly happy I got to see you when I came home I have so many memories which I will remember forever and want to thank you for, such a kind hearted strong man.

Il always remember our day to see Uncle John and how you two made me and Yvette laugh so much with the Dr Martens boots.

You have left a strong mark on people's life's which shows what a great man you was and I'm proud to say you was my uncle.

Nanny will be waiting for you to boss you around to get her tea and toast.
