We were saddened to hear the news about Sandie. Her happy and friendly nature touched us all. I remember one summer a while ago now we played tennis several times in Great Bedwyn, Sandie nearly always won! She was knowledgeable and engaging and will be missed. We'll raise a glass with some of her many friends to her memory. The Raff family.

What a privilege to get to know someone as special as Sandie, who always had a heart for others and lived life with a wicked sense of humour and that infectious giggle, even when times were challenging. Passionate about living life to the full, she was a proud Mum and a great friend to so many, someone who will always be, 'much loved'.

Sincere condolences to Sandie's family. I met Sandie in 1976 when we worked together, I think it was her first job after leaving Frome College, she was always full of fun and I'll never forget that giggle. She was my daughters God mother and a few months ago I e mailed her a Christening photo that I'd found from 1979 she had a giggle then to see how much we had all changed. Happy memories of Sandie, she will always be remembered with affection. Love, Jane, Les and Paula.
