I have lived in CV1 for almost 10 years and in that time Jim (and his brother Mick now retired) worked there, Jim as Concierge. Jim was always available for a chat about the weather, the broken gates, his holidays to Goa and his beloved family, the pigeons and he was always willing to accept parcels if I was away on business. I was saddened to hear Jim had been rushed in to hospital then even more so when I heard reports of his deteriorating health and ultimately his death. You were part of the community at CV1 Jim and we all will miss you. I know I speak for everyone who may not be able to find this obituary notice; long term residents like me, students past and present and the local community outside of CV1 on Manor House Drive and New Union Street.
