Lawrie gave this speech on behalf of my father at our wedding. At Lawrie's funeral some of you told me you had heard about this occasion and I am so grateful to have this footage of him, so I thought I would share it with you.

No flowers please, but if you wish donations can be made in his memory to the Alzheimers Society or the Bluebell Railway Trust.
Dress:
In line with Lawrie’s carefully honed sartorial style do dress for comfort. Corduroy optional!
RSVP:
For catering & practical purposes it would be hugely helpful if you could let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend.
Update: 10th June 2017
If you have responded to let us know that you intend to come to either of the services and the afternoon tea on Monday, this has been very helpful in estimating numbers to cater for.
If you have not responded, do not let this put you off coming. You will still be very welcome.

How to get there:
You can find Grove Hill Church at the top of Grove Hill, off Woodford High Road almost opposite the Odeon. It is about a 1 mile walk (mostly uphill!) from South Woodford underground station (Central line, West side). Taxis are available from the station. There is dedicated parking for about 20 cars next to the church and there is usually space in the road also. The footbridge over the North Circular allows easy access from Chelmsford Road and there is a footpath into Bressey Grove almost opposite the church.
The City of London Cemetery is approx a 5- 10 minute walk from Manor Park overground station.
