In loving memory of Gary Schofield who sadly passed away on 13th May 2017
Born 12th August 1957 and married to Tina , step father to Terry and Katie. Gary was born in Birmingham and grew up in Lichfield Staffordshire. Just before his 17th birthday he joined the Royal Naval and served 10 years. During this time he served on HMS Antelope, HMS Blake and HMS Antrim. On the latter ship he served his country in the Falklands War . Gary was a marksman for the navy representing the navy at the annual Bisley inter services shooting competition . Gary was an engineer for Altodigital working for them for many years both in the Midlands and then later transferring down to Gosport - close to the sea, his naval history and connections and dear friends from both his school days ( Mick and Rob) and ex naval colleagues. Always happy sharing a pint with his mates in the RNA club Gosport. Taken far too early from us Gary will be desperately missed by his wife and step children his sister Penny and family and his mum Sally. RIP Gary Fair winds and calm seas till we meet again.
