In loving memory of Benjamin James Ackroyd who sadly passed away on 2nd May 2017.

Ben was a thoughtful, kind and gentle man. He was a devoted father to Grace, beloved brother to Nancy, Lucy, Ba, Suzy and Abi, loving uncle to Maddie and Sam and dutiful son to Roger.

Ben spent a career caring for others, enjoying the outdoors and collecting stray cats!

He will be sadly missed and loved for eternity by his family.

We will be saying our farewells to Ben at Christ Church, Chilwell at 1pm on Friday 2nd June 2017.

Sad to find this. Fond memories of Ben teaching me cricket on the front lawn in the late seventies.
