Dad received some beautiful flowers, we took them back home and used one of the posies to take apart and cast out along with Dad's ashes on the river Thames at Teddington Lock .

I have a lovely memory of spending a hot summers day on the Thames with Julia and my sister, Linda, when Roy was working on the boats. It was a wonderful day and still makes me smile when I think of it.
