George sadly lost the fight against oesophageal cancer but remained strong until the end. He showed amazing strength but is now at peace which is all that we could have hoped for.

I love you so much dad and not a day passed has changed that. Its been 4months now since we lost you and all i want is for you to be back sitting on the sofa with a fag hanging out your mouth watching nothing but rubbish on the tv. Its strange without you here dad.

Thank you to everyone who attended my brother George's funeral and to those of you who sent good wishes. Mum and I especially thank George's children and Rose who not only supported and cared for George over the last few difficult and sad months but also helped to give him the send off he would have loved
