In loving memory of John Richard Howells who sadly passed away on 19th April 2017
A true Gentleman
John was born to Eileen and Albert on 26/06/1960
He dedicated his life to helping and supporting others; from a young age he was fund raising with the Leos where he made a number of lifelong friends and raised money for the charity by taking part in fundraising events and charity walks.
John went on to be part of the Lions where he took up many posts voluntarily within the charity.
In 2003 John joined the Padley Group where he met his future wife Julie, they went on to marry on May 13, 2006.
John continued in the charity sector opening his own CIC for a while before moving on to Encore Reuse in Ashbourne where he became the Warehouse Manager (now known as Revival Furniture Project) where John worked until his final days.
John was a true gentleman with a wicked, witty, dry sense of humour. He had the ability to make those around him feel at ease, all who met him would know him as a true gentleman.
John loved to see the sea and having a drop of whiskey in an evening; a kind, gentle, loving man who was taken from this world far too early.
John leaves behind his wife Julie, his dogs Barney and Watson and his cat Cleo who are all missing him dearly.
