Shirley Ann Todd (17 Jul 1946 - 16 Apr 2017)
Donate in memory of
Shirley AnnSt Barnabas Hospice Trust (Lincolnshire)

In very loving memory of Shirley who sadly passed away on 16th April 2017, after a long fight against Pulmonary Fibrosis.
One of God's Angels here on earth, loving and exceptional wife, mother, grandmother. great grandmother and sister, and a true friend to everyone she met. It was impossible not to feel the warmth that Shirley generated when you met her, and her loveliness just radiated in her sunlight. Naturally, she will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Born in Dover, one of four sisters, until she moved to Canterbury, moving onto London having met Nick in 1978. Whilst in London Shirley worked for a considerable time at Boots the Chemist, having gone in for a part-time Christmas job, and stayed 18 years. Unfortunately she developed Breast Cancer in 2000 and despite having a grade 3 diagnosis she made a full recovery. With the freedom of children having left home Shirley and Nick travelled extensively and hoped to continue to do so into their old age, but unfortunately it wasn't to be.
If there is one thing to add it is that, having discussed it together, Shirley and Nick advocate living for today!
Shirley is at the Co-Op Funeral Service, Tritton Road, Lincoln until the celebration of her life.
Shirley requests no black to be worn at her Celebration! She also requests no floral tributes and wished, instead, donations to be made to the St. Barnabas Hospice Trust. These donations can be made on this site, or sending to the Funeral Directors, or at the service.
Shirley's wake will follow the celebration at The Lincoln Green P.H., Lincoln Road, Lincoln, LN6 8DL.
When discussing Shirley's funeral together we realised that many family and friends would have a long distance to travel for the Celebration. It is for that reason that we would really appreciate, on this occasion, that if you are attending please let us know asap in any way you choose.
