Aunty Mary,

I spent the first 20 years of my life living next door to you & I remember with great fondness the love you gave to me & in times of trouble, the support & protection you offered was invaluable.
You were twin to my wonderful mother Margaret. And when she was lost to is 5 years ago, you effortlessly & probably even without realising provided the maternal role that can be so important to us guys sometimes.
I believe we enjoyed a special relationship throughout & right up to the end shared a wry strong bond.

I will miss you enormously Aunty Mary

Love you always my darling. R I P

A kind, dignified and gentle soul for who family near and far were everything. We are so happy and proud to have had Mary, together with Peter as an important part of our lives and will miss her and her humour (not always intended) in the times ahead. Rest easy now beautiful lady ❤

In loving memory of my Aunty Mary.
You were always there for me as a child and I loved the cuddles you gave me.
Although I grew up in New Zealand we returned on a regular basis and would always visit so that I could have my cuddle. As I gew older and traveled the world on holiday or as part of my job I would when I could, visit not for you to cuddle me but for me to give you a cuddle as you ment that much to me. You never changed and always had that walm welcoming smile.
You will always be in my heart..

We are deeply saddened to hear lovely Mary has passed away. Mary liked to listen to Frank Sinatra....His lyrics say better than we can what we hope for her nearest and dearest at this difficult time. ?Xx
'This lovely day will lengthen into evening,
we'll sigh goodbye to all we ever had.
Alone where we have walked together,
I'll remember April and be glad.
I'll be content you loved me once in April.
Your lips were warm and love and spring were new.
I'm not afraid of autumn and her sorrow,
for I'll remember April and you.
The fire will dwindle into glowing ashes,
for flames live such a little while.
I won't forget but I won't be lonely,
I'll remember April and smile.'
