In loving memory of my mum
Irene Kay who sadly passed away on 15th April

You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it
And God only knows why

A millions times I needed you
A million times I cried,
If my love alone could have saved you
You would have never died.

In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still,
In my heart I hold a place
That only you can fill

It broke my heart to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
As part of me went with you
The day God took you home.

We loved you so much mum each and everyone of us
Louise,Duncan,Steven,Ali,Scott,Diana,Michael
Robyn,Joe,Callum,Kaylah,Roman and wee Mason
Your loving sister Diane and brother-in-law Phill

My dearest mum,

Words just can't express how much you meant to me, I feel a little bit of me died with you. Life is never going to be the same without you. I loved you so much we had such a close mother and daughter relationship. You drove me crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We were more than mother and daughter, my friends were amazed at all the things we done together, the numerous holidays we went on, the mad nights out. Our afternoon teas and lunches together and with my friends. You were such a big part not only in Duncan and my life but our grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wee Mason has asked if your away to look after Uncle Billy, I said you always looked after him now you can continue. I'm sure the both of you will be having a ball up there him with his music and you with your dancing.

You had so much energy mum you put us all to shame. Your generosity was overwhelming and you gave us all too much. You always said money is for spending, and boy did you spend especially on clothes and shoes as well as the odd holiday!!

You loved a good night out especially with all your pals; Joan,Mary,Gina,May,Sandra,Tessa and so many more. I bet you Cathy Demarco and Joyce are having a right good catch up.

Your holidays were legendary, I know your favourite was Benidorm, Robyn and I have been going through all the holiday photos since 1968. There's some crackers and some not for show ( I'm afraid Robyn's seen them all, your her hero). It was great to see how much you enjoyed your holidays you worked so hard the whole year. Later in life I was able to take you to USA, and of course you just loved Vegas, L.A, San Francisco and Florida. I'm so sorry we didn't get to New York, but I will go back and visit all the places we were going to go to.

I love our mum and don't know what we're all going to do without you.
