Nana Rita you wore a truly amazing, beautiful, kind, strong, loving and most caring and unselfish women I've ever had the pleasure and privilege of having in our life's she gave me back something I thought I'd never feel again after I lost my own grandma and grandad many years ago she gave me back that warm comforting love only a grandma can, she opened her door and her heart to me and my oldest two boys no questions asked even tho she didn't have to she made us a part of her life and her family and treated us no different to her actual grandchildren, she was strong a fighter she never gave up she just got on she never felt sorry for herself even when she was told they could do no more to treat her, she was tied but she kept going she didn't let it beat her down she was so brave so full of courage she taught me no matter how tough times get just carry on and don't give up she also taught me that family isn't just blood and shared genes it's about the love that's shown and given and she gave so much love and cared so much that to me she was my nana so Nana Rita with a lump in my throat and a heavy broken heart I wish you goodbye a thank you and I love you more than I ever had a chance to tell you

Rita was a very special lady who always supported and loved her family. We have so many happy memories of times spent at parties with her and Bill, Rita enjoyed being in the middle of it all with her family and friends. She bore her illness with bravery and dignity and carried on enjoying her life without complaining. We will always remember Rita and she will live on in our hearts. Our love and condolences go out to Andy and Janet and all the Tainton family at this very sad time.
