Dad Friday 19th would if been your 92nd birthday. You are in a better place and grandma will see you have a happy birthday

Dad the garden was the best in notts and u won a prize so that shows how good you were

Dad as you arrive in heaven the bag pipes will play your favourite tune flower of Scotland.
Grandma will be overjoyed to see the McAlpnie boys reunited again.

You were such a gentle sweet soul.
A true gentleman who was loved and cherished by everyone who knew him.

Our fondest memories are of you digging your garden which was always the neatest and most beautiful on Edgeway Road. Another fond memory is of you quietly reading your newspaper and watching TV with your cup of Black tea with the spoon in it. Even when the news headlines were bad, I never once heard you complain or shout at the TV because you knew what was important in life. As long as your beloved family & loved ones were safe & happy that was the most important thing to you.
Dearest Arthur, you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Sleep well Arthur, you are with the angels now.
