Janet Angela McGarry (Passed away 1 Mar 2017)

Today we will say goodbye to my Beloved Wife, Janet, Cherished Mother of Donna-Marie & Elaine and Darling Grandmother of William, Anthony & Jorja. The pain we all feel right now will not be easy to overcome but with the help of the spirit of Jan and the wonderful memories of the love and joy she gave us all we will pull through this very sad time.

I have had a wonderful life that she gave me over the course of 54+ years together and a marriage of 50+ years. It's been an absolute pleasure and honour to be able to say Jan was my saviour, my wife, my companion, my best friend but most of all the mother of my two daughters and three grandchildren. We will all miss her greatly and our lives will be very empty indeed without her.
Rest In Peace my beloved I will look forward to the day we can be together again. Love you more than anyone could ever imagine.

Uncle Hugh, Donna Marie, Paul, Elaine, Pete and your beautiful children,

We are deeply saddened to know of the pain and grief you are all going through. Please know that you are always in our thoughts and in our hearts. Although we cannot be with you in person tomorrow, know that our hearts will be with you.

Auntie Jan's spirit was always a cheerful one and may you find comfort in all the loving memories you shared together. When I remember her in life, I remember her radiant smile. One of my favourite memories is of her smiling face, danicing on the dance floor at my wedding. We love her greatly.

May she always be smiling down on you and may you be blessed to recognize the signs she gives you to let you know she is still with you. Know that the pain you feel is a reflection of the love you shared and what a deep love it is.

I am deeply saddened that you must experience the pain of grief for your beloved wife and mother, Jan. Grief is the price we pay for such intense and deep love.

Auntie Jan was a very sweet woman, with a lovely voice, always engaged in talks with me, loved her family fondly and was always excited to talk about her grandchildren. Clearly you all meant the world to her.

May the memories of her life be a treasure to you all forevermore. They will keep you warm on dark nights, they will cause you to weep, but may you eventually be able to laugh and smile when you think of your beloved. She was a special woman, and continues to live on through you all. "Whatever we were to each other, that we are still." That we are still...

Dear Uncle Hugh, DonnaMarie, Elaine, and family,

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Aunt Jan. Words cannot fully express the sympathy and love we have for all of you during this time of sorrow.

We will fondly remember our visits with you both when you travelled to Canada. Aunt Jan's quick wit always had us laughing and we loved her playful interactions with our wee William.

Uncle Hugh.... I don't even know what to say. We were saddened when we heard first that Aunt Janet was sick and then shocked when we heard how advanced her illness was.
It's a small comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain.

Tina, Aislin and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. We have fond memories of Aunt Janet that we'll cherish. She was always very engaged and fully attentive to whomever she was conversing with. I was glad to have known her and blessed to have her as an Aunt.
