In loving memory of Philip Harris who sadly passed away on 15th February 2017.

15th February 2017 our lives changed and our world was turned upside down, inside out and back to front.

Our best friend, guide and rock known to us as Dad was suddenly taken without much warning.

For many years he has seen us through some hard time and some good. Leaving behind a lifetime of memories and happy times. Not forgetting 2 AMAZING daughters and 2 FABULOUS grandchildren who will contine to shine his light, bad sense of humor and ability to moan.

Dad lived life to the full and although life and people tried to knock him back, he always got back up, stood strong and sruck up his finger to the world.

Dad taught us what family was and show us how to love beyond words. He also taught us how to naff of those who tinkle on you and show them what you are made of.

He also reminded us how short life is and how you should live each day to the max, smoke that cigarette, drink that pint, and have that double burger if you want it.

Thankfully he has taught us well and although we dont want to live without him. He has show us that we can, we have our own 2 feet to stand on and team Harris will continue just as strong.

We know you all have your memories, good or bad, of Dad known to many as Pops, Phillybilly, Grampsy, Daddio or plain Phil. We want you to remember them and hold them dear just like we do, and if its something you want to share then please do.

Thank you for sharing Dads life with us and supporting us during this tough time. It means alot to us... and Dad.

Much love

Sam, Nik, Ellie and Daniel

P.S

You may have had a nic name for him... rest assured he possibly had one for you too... that you never knew of! We apologise in advance!!

For weeks now I have tried to leave a message or find the right words. I have deleted it every time! All I can come up with is 'that's not enough!' There's are nothe enough words to tell you how much I miss him. Not enough words to convey how thankful I am for what he's taught me and shown me. There's not enough words to show how muchave I love him. There are no right words and there will nevery ever be enough!!
His was the answer I seeked, the opinion I trusted and the voice I wanted to hear. He could fix everything and anything (apart from this!) He gave me my sister, Who is the best friend in the world. He taught us what 'Family' truly meant and how wonderful it is. He would put me right and even at 36 would tell me off and I knew abouthat it. My children are blessed to call you Grampsy and to have been guided by you and have you in their lives evenue for such a short time. They still daren't lick a knife. Ellie loved to show him her achievements, even if it was her new bassoon playing! Daniel is truly a mini Grampsy sometimes and is looking after his marbles for him!! Though he needs to work on his magic paper bag trick.
I hope we continue to make you proud. We will always be asking for your advice and opinion and I am sure you will find a way to answer and guide us. We will miss you for ever and love you for even longer +10!
