Dear Anton was a kind caring friend person who always put others first. He also did a good impersonation of a cat going down the M1!! Always made me laugh, will miss him and he will be missed by a lot of people. Rest well my friend.

To all Anton's lovely friends and cousins...we were truly touched that so many of you came from far and wide to pay your last respects yesterday and joined us later for refreshments and a very special farewell tribute 'gig' at the Holroyd Arms. It was an amazing and hugely respectful turnout. The bands were excellent, the pub very kindly laid on a complimentary spread of nibbles, and an excellent evening was had by all. Thank you so much for all your generous donations both on this site and also for Anton's CDs and T Shirts. In the pub alone you raised over £400! You must all wear your TShirts on Anton's birthday...16 January! Anton would have been truly honoured and happy to see how loved he was. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts...Anita, Penny, Robin and Quentin xxx

Words alone cannot convey the enormity of your passing. You and I enjoyed that huge chunk of life which saw us 'grow through the ranks' at Barrow Hills and St George's College. So glad to have met up with you again a few years ago, after so many decades. As an occasional bass player myself, your musical journey got my vote hands-down! You have left behind in your wake many great footprints.

RIP, Ant. Thank you for being there in my life, ol' bean. X :-)

Really missing my longest friend, Anton. Met him in 1985 while working at Merlin Geophysical in Woking. Been friends every since, meeting up again when I moved to Walton on Thames and realised I lived very close to where he was living. Been to a few gigs together which was good with his company. Rest in Peace dear friend
