We have know Maurice and Betty for over 50 years and enjoyed living next door to them and the family when we were first married. Maurice was a kind and generous man who we will remember as a good friend and neighbour, always willing to help and share his practical know how. After we moved away from the Midlands we visited or stayed with them and they with us on many occasions. We laughed a lot together particularly as we reminisced over the years. He was a good man; we shall miss him very much.

My beautiful Uncle Maurice, who wouldn't even let me call him " Uncle ". I think it was because I seemed more his contemporary, with him being my Dad's youngest brother.
Peter and I will miss him very much. We always enjoyed the times we shared together over the many years we have been coming back to the UK. He always enjoyed coming up to our cabin in the Lake District, and couldn't wait to get a meal out of the way, so we could play cards or Rummy-cub.
What I admired about him the most, was the fact that he never said a bad word about anyone or anything and never complained, even when you knew he was suffering. He loved to talk with Pete about the football
games and Formula One.
We both will miss him dearly, until we meet again.
Love you always Maurice. Maureen and Peter. X X
