In loving memory of Andrew Richard Hasler who sadly passed away on 8th January 2017

What can I say about Andrew? There is just so much to say about him known as Hoff or Hasler to his friends but always Andrew to his family. Andrew came in to the world early and has left far too early leaving a huge gap in our hearts. He is truly missed and never be forgotten.

I really don't think once you met Andrew and got to know Andrew you would ever forget him. A tiny 5lb 3oz baby who grew into a handsome, kind, loving young man who made us proud and drove us crazy at times. He loved AC/DC (as did his mum), Ferrari cars and Michael Schumacher was his hero as a young boy. As a baby his pram had an engine sound but not only a sound but it changed gears too as his Grandma once stated. Pressing buttons and flashing lights were his next thing, all visitors when leaving had to flash their car headlights, most friends washing machines were started once Andrew visited due to his button pressing!

Little Chef Olympic breakfasts were is favourite growing up he loved his sausage, bacon and eggs in fact having breakfast at home then going to our neighbour's for a cooked breakfast after. I think they thought we didn't feed him at the time.

Cars was Andrew's next love well in fact anything with a fast engine and top of the range. He then discovered computers and mobile phones. He took everything apart to see how it worked and his phrase was 'I'm fixing it' or 'It's broken' usually it wasn't! Andrew then learned how to put everything back together, he became the Andrew can you fix my phone/computer to his family and friends.

He is going to be missed enormously and not just because we need our phones/computers fixed but because he just made you laugh with his sense of humour.

Writing this is hard and so much that can be said but I do hope you will share your memories of Andrew and able to join us for his goodbyes.

Andrew's family

Thank you all for your kind words, wishes, generosity with donations to the two services that fought to save Andrew and thank you to all those who attended Andrew's goodbye. It's deeply touching how much Andrew was loved and will be missed by family and friends.

Andrew, everywhere I look, you are here.. Everything I touch, you are here. Every computer, laptop, mobile phone, hands free and car, you have worked on.
And every mug in my cupboard, you have drank coffee from.
I know that you are climbing the stairway to heaven, and knocking on heavens door....I just wish it was my front door you were knocking on right now....the kettle would be on!
Miss you more than I can say, and I (Rob, Lucy, Lauren and Jordyn), will miss you more than words can say.
Sleep well my "wee bruv".
Love you.
