So sorry to learn about your mum's passing. Many years ago when you all lived in, I think,Chestnut Crescent she used to help me with the annual house to house collection for what is now Action for Childrem for which I and they were very grateful.
Later, when she came to live in Orchard Street she would often stop for a chat as I was pushing the pram past her door. She had a positive outlook on life and I know loved her books.
I know you will miss her greatly but having happy memories does help.
