My dear friend Paul, We have known each other since we were 5 years old, we had a timeless irreplaceable bond that will live on in cherished memories from the great times we had. They say a candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long and your flame could light up the night sky; your strength of character, integrity, wise counsel, fantastic sense of humour, trust, good nature, caring attitude and loyal friendship to name but a few attributes. Most of all I will always remember your beaming smile whenever we met and how you helped me through difficult times and made the better times brilliant, laughing at our comical observations until we almost cried. It was a privilege to have been your friend and you will be forever in my thoughts. I miss you mate - rest in peace.

Our hearts go out to Paul’s family at this difficult time. David, Denise & Shaun XX

Paul - my friend. An unbelievable shocking tragedy that you are no longer with us - and I will miss you greatly for the rest of my life. A true friend who I was looking to spend more time with in later life - sadly this will now never happen. Thank you Paul for the friendship and support you showed me over the years and you will always be in my heart. We had some great times over the years and you were the closest thing I had to a brother - I will always remember our chats, our shared sense of humour and your infectious laugh. I will raise many a glass in your memory in the future.
Good night and God Bless Paul - so very sorry that you have gone. Love and best wishes to the Duly family at this difficult time Martyn and Jo. Xx

So sorry to hear about Paul. He was a lovely friend, we used to meet up at Sinatra's at the the weekend when a big group of us used to hit the town! I was with him when i met my husband and he said to me...'you better hurry up and talk to him, 'cause we are going in a minute'! Now we have a lovely daughter and maybe if Paul hadn't encouraged me that wouldn't have happened! We worked together too, when he had his business at Colour Reproductions and I was a Designer working for a company across the road and he managed the print side of thing for me...often discussed over a couple of beers at lunchtime at the Fox & Crown or the Red Lion! I will miss you Paul. Sincere condolences to your family and other friends xxxx

I can't imagine how devastated Paul's family and other friends are coping with their loss, but I had to write a message to celebrate knowing Paul. He was a unique gent, always a smile and alway had time to say "Hello" and ask how I am. A special caring man who left us far too quickly. Shine your light from beyond. Marian (Fiona's friend)
