In loving memory of Arnold Wainwright who sadly passed away on 13th January 2017.
This page is a tribute to Arnold Wainwright, who most people knew as Arnie. He was a much loved and respected husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.
Arnie spent most of his early career proudly serving with the Royal Navy.
He married loving wife Brenda in March 1963 and their family extended to include three children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In the early eighties, Arnie joined his local RAOB lodge, another organisation that he was again proud to be associated with.
Although suffering from declining health over recent years Arnie will always be remembered as a fun and funny man. Arnie will be missed by his surviving family, former shipmates, long-lasting friends, and colleagues from his other jobs.
