Jane Samantha Farrugia (Passed away 4 Jan 2017)

So sorry to hear of Jane's passing. We never met but we exchanged text messages and emails last year with regard to a common enemy - that being a cowboy builder called Adam Lambert. He was, and is, a vile man but Jane showed extreme stoicism, self control and pride in dealing with him. I felt like I knew her albeit we only had a relatively brief encounter. She spoke of her illness and how she wanted everything right for her family before she died. She was quite clearly a lovely lovely woman. I can never understand how beautiful people like her are taken so soon yet vile individuals like Lambert continue to cause misery to others.
Rest in peace Jane. One more person has shed a tear for you today x

Remembering Jane today - a light who sparkled so brightly and embodied the finest things and values in life.

She came from the East end of Barry I came from the West end, first day of comprehensive we partnered up and became best buddies. I couldn't have got through big school without her, she was my protector, lol. We lost touch through the years but I am so so thankful that we were able to reunite, a couple of times in fact. But most thankful for the last 3 years. We never lost our bond. She was so proud of me when I became Barry Town Mayor and supported me when she could. I'm just so sad that she won't be here to see the final sum that I raise for Breast Cancer Now at the end of my term in May. I'm so so proud of her, she was an amazing life long best friend, and she fought very hard for the last 3 years with the utmost dignity and determination that she always had. slangevar! ?

Jane, you will be missed by so many. The most inspirational person I have ever known. You always had a smile on your face, a beautiful person, inside and out xxx
