We have very happy memories of the time we spent as next door neighbours of Sheila and Peter in Woodford Green in the mid-sixties. Peter was Tony’s senior at work and told Tony that the house was to be on the market. This was our first house as a young married couple and Sheila and Peter were very kind and gave us a lot of help and good advice. Sheila was full of practical tips and good sense which was greatly appreciated by Liz, who was able to babysit in return and remembers her with great affection. We were very sorry to see them leave some 18 months after we moved in.
